Choosing a brace or support

Fit matters more than the product. A support that is too loose does nothing; one that is too tight restricts circulation. Measure the joint before ordering and use the size chart rather than your clothing size.

Compression sleeves, like the Kne knee sleeve, apply even pressure without limiting movement. They suit general joint support during activity and are what most people want for everyday wear.

Splinted braces add a rigid stay. The Håndledd wrist brace has a removable splint, so you can immobilise the wrist when you need to and take the splint out when you want movement back — worth having if you are unsure how much support you need.

Lumbar belts work differently. They support the lower back and encourage upright posture, particularly during lifting, and a removable pad lets you add targeted pressure.

Supports help with comfort and stability. They are not a treatment for an injury — if pain persists or worsens, see a clinician.
